SAS Company Celebrated New Year’s Eve in Sakura Park

With the presence of a number of KRG and Japanese officials and SAS staff, Sardar Group threw a celebration event in Sakura Park to welcome the new year. In the celebration, food was presented and many entertainment activities were organized.

Sakura Park was opened in 2017 by Sardar Group as a social contribution to the Iraqi society. Sakura trees are planted in the park which symbolize the spirit of Japanese Samurai fighters. In addition to being a community service, this project is a symbolic representation and willingness to strengthen the friendship between Iraq and Japan. The park is decorated by beautiful water fountains and lighting features that have given a beautiful view to an important part of Erbil city.

Sakura Park is located on behing SAS Company on 100m Street and is 100 acres. The park was handed over to Erbil Municipality after its opening.
